Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Some of the topics Rob and Mark cover in this bonus holiday episode include:
• Things they are grateful for – especially a close friend and longtime bandmate of Rob’s who the world sadly lost recently.
• Benefits that gratitude can bring to you and others.
• A handful of ways that we can all express more of it in our lives.

Gents,
First off, this message is derived from 27yrs worth of gratitude for your music…
At age 14, my first Floater experience was at the WOW Hall when Sink was released and I’ve been a devout fan ever since the band signed my Sink Demo cassette after that first show.
Fanboy backstory aside, I’ve been listening to Igniter since ep. 2 and must say, your most recent episode, “Giving Thanks”, has reshaped my perspective on gratitude and being grateful in a profound way.
And for that, I am grateful.
Although it was wonderful to hear you talk about Pete and his immense impact on so many people’s lives, the Floater Army will never truly understand the depth of your personal loss. But your perspective on savoring the time you shared vs. letting anger / grief consume you genuinely struck a deep, personal chord with me.
And for that, I am grateful.
To Mark’s point, learning Pete’s material often casts a tall, daunting shadow but often times forces him to try things he normally wouldn’t. Even in death, Pete’s unbridled spirit continues to inspire others to challenge themselves creatively.
And for that, I am grateful.
Writing messages in response to podcasts is highly uncharacteristic of me. But considering the episode’s topic, I simply wanted to express how much joy your music has bestowed upon me over the decades.
And for that, I am and will forever be… Grateful.
Cheers,
Rob
